Puffed Rice Balls

Puffed Rice Balls

1 – 6-ounce package of your favorite flavor Jell-O

1 cup sugar

1 cup Light Karo Syrup

8 cups Puffed Rice Cereal

Mix above ingredients except the Puffed Rice and heat slowly on low heat just until sugar is dissolved then bring it to a boil stirring constantly. Boil no more than 30 seconds or it will go hard. Remove from heat and add Puffed Rice or popcorn if you prefer. Stir to coat all of the Puffed Rice and then form it into balls. Put a little butter on your hands to keep it from sticking to your hands while forming the balls.
